The prospective candidate will be joining a fast moving, fast thinking agency built on creating, developing and innovating user&#8217;s experience with brands online, through digital and social media activations.</p>
<p>Specifically the role will involve direct client account management on a variety of leading entertainment and lifestyle brands, focused on management of client&#8217;s digital footprint, marketing through Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube; and helping develop campaigns supported by creativity and market relevance.</p>
<p><strong>Information</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Delivering a social media driven strategy and campaign specifically aligned to conversation planning, content and engagement.</li>
<li>Using a variety of Insight and Analytics tools to report and evolve campaign activity, as well as formulate competitor analysis.</li>
<li>Using technology, applications and creative solutions to define or drive an independent campaign.</li>
<li>Collaboratively or independently planning campaign activations which meet client and internal business objectives.</li>
<li>Manage community footprints scaling from 100,000 &#8211; 1,000,000 users across a multitude of global markets on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and other specialist social platforms.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>An outstanding grasp of marketing in social media across: platform, location, content and mobile; based on at least 2-3 years of experience in a digital agency.</li>
<li>An understanding of the film, gaming, fashion and TV industries and previous campaign experience in at least two.</li>
<li>A strong grasp of social technologies, ranging from eCRM platforms, Insight tools and applications, all of which will be used to drive and evolve campaigns.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail in relation to copywriting, presentation and planning.</li>
<li>A thirst to learn, develop personal skill sets alongside professional goals, and self motivate towards becoming a team member and valued individual to clients.</li>
<li>Graduate qualification, preferably in relation to communications, business or public relations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Kudos!</strong> Candidates would benefit from:</p>

<li>Competency in HTML, CSS and photoshop.</li>

<p>To work as part of a rapidly growing agency, reporting directly to the Client Development Director in planning and executing a new business and marketing strategy for growing a list of female fashion and lifestyle clients. A hands-on role that will require both a strategic mind but also a winning personality and work ethic. </p>
<p>Key responsibilities<br />
Planning &#8211; Prospecting &#8211; Insight gathering &#8211; Contacting &#8211; Relationship Building and Reporting: </p>
<p>•Driving the daily tactical marketing and new business workload towards a growing our presence within the female fashion and lifestyle brands.<br />
•Identify target brands and companies within the outlined sectors.<br />
•Carrying out topline desktop research on target brands in order to develop an understanding of the sector and the brand’s current, past and future activity.<br />
•Seeking commercial opportunities within industry press to organically grow business.<br />
•Finding key decision makers and budget holders with the target companies.<br />
•Initiating dialogs with prospects, with the aim of developing long-term relationships.<br />
•Delivering email-marketing initiatives.<br />
•Securing and scheduling a number of new business client meetings.<br />
•Reporting progress on a weekly basis.<br />
•Develop an overview of the strategy and objectives, in order to contribute to creativity, business innovation and the long-term vision of the agency.</p>
<p>Person Specification:</p>
<p>•Motivated, ambitious personality and a self-starter with initiative.<br />
•A well-presented, organized individual with a diligent and Professional approach to their work.<br />
•2 &#8211; 3 years experience within client development/new business and marketing.<br />
•From an agency background (Digital experience is advantageous)<br />
•An awareness of the role that multi-platform Marketing and PR plays within the youth brand, lifestyle and entertainment sector.<br />
•Excellent communication and skills for both liaising with clients and key internal stakeholders. <br />
•A proven track record of developing client relationships and growing client accounts. (Experience in female fashion and lifestyle brands is preferred).<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Previously on the blog we have talked about the demise of the UK festival scene and with so many different festivals across the summer, individuals are almost overwhelmed by the choice and variety of ones to choose from.</p>
<p>With ticket prices soaring and the average festival now costing the price of a normal summer holiday, festival goers are limited as to how many they can feasibly attend, thus meaning them picking only one or two and planning their summer around that.</p>
<p>It was announced earlier this month that The Big Chill would not be opening it&#8217;s doors this year due scheduling clashes with the Olympics, and a fear of not being able to draw enough people in. </p>
<p>With no Glastonbury this year, this now means two bleak landmarks on the festival calendar. Will other festivals be able to survive the ever increasingly difficult festival landscape?</p>
<p>Only 2013 will tell&#8230;..</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday saw Lucid stage a one-off event for the UK&#8217;s biggest boyband, JLS, as they teamed up with restaurant chain Nando&#8217;s to hold an album launch party in celebration of their upcoming album release. 200 dedicated fans and an assortment of key media came down to hear tracks from the new album &#8216;Jukebox&#8217; which is set to be released on 14th November. Capital FM DJ Rich Clarke hosted the party, and introduced the bands surprise appearance at the venue.</p>
<p>The event spanned online PR, social media and digital marketing and was incredibly successful. The designated hashtag trended within minutes, raising awareness of the event and album release for fans and media alike. The initial fan competition also received over 6,000 fan entries via promotion through Twitter and Facebook.</p>
<p>Designed to create a buzz on and offline around the band&#8217;s third album, the launch was also a way to give back to fans by super-serving them and rewarding their loyalty with access to a once in a lifetime event.</p>
<p>Stay tuned next week, as we launch an exclusive &#8216;Jukebox&#8217; album streaming app on the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/JLSofficial">band&#8217;s Facebook page</a> that allows users to customise and send their own album track playlist.</p>

<p>After 14 years, 26 top ten hits including 14 number one singles, 11 top 5 albums, 7 of which hit the top spot and have collectively sold over 44 million copies around the world, 10 sell out tours and countless memories that we will forever cherish, we today announce our plan to go our separate ways after a greatest hits collection this Christmas and a farewell tour next year.  The decision is entirely amicable and after spending all of our adult life together so far, we want to have a well-earned break and look at new ventures.  We see the greatest hits collection and the farewell tour as the perfect way to celebrate our incredible career along with our fans. We are really looking forward to getting out on the tour and seeing our fans one last time.</p>
<p>Over the years Westlife has become so much more to us than just a band.  Westlife are a family.  We would like to thank our fans who have been with us on this amazing journey and are part of our family too.</p>
<p>We never imagined when we started out in 1998 that 14 years later we would still be recording, touring and having hits together.  It has been a dream come true for all of us.</p>
